Response of Sulphur and Zinc on Growth and Yield of Lentil (Lens culinaris L.)

A field experiment entitled “Response of Sulphur and Zinc on Growth Yield Lentil” was conducted during Rabi season 2022 at the Crop Research Farm, Department Agronomy, Naini Agricultural Institute, Sam Higginbottom University Agriculture, Technology Sciences, Prayagraj (U.P.) India. The soil in experimental plot sandy loamy texture, nearly neutral reaction (pH 7.8), low organic carbon (0.35%). treatments consist three levels (20, 30, 40 kg/ha) (5, 6, 7 kg/ha). layout Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 10 replicated thrice. Application kg/ha along 7.0 produces higher plant height (37.68 cm), number nodules (19.25), dry weight (18.83 g/plant), crop growth rate (15.7 g/m2/day), pods/plant (148.77), seeds/pod (1.80), 1000 seed (25.27 g), yield (1.78 t/ha) stover (3.05 t/ha).
